I know this thought will be very much unpopular but I really think the sniper thing in MW2 is nonsense, there is nothing realistic of it.....a guy going around running and gunning with a sniper rifle quick scoping and single shot killing everyone passing around....

I know, you will say it's skill.... but in real life if you do that you get killed by someone with a pen....

I also know MW2 it's not real life but I thought they wanted to, at least, imitate it.

I really prefer campers than that..... and by the way in my opinion if you play as a sniper you should camp because that's the sniper role.

I'm not a really good player, I'm almost 40 and I have very little time to play so I should just stop complaining if I get killed by someone which is much better than me but get killed like that is very annoing.

It's a game, it was built like that nobody will change it. IF you want somethig semi-realistic drop the CoD series and go play BF. And yet even that is not realistic. OR you could always make a server and a mod that restricts snipers:)

I play BF already and to be honest I like it more but I still like to play MW2 with dedicated servers when I want a more quick action, it's just that sniper thing I don't like

Never ever talk about CoD and realism. There is no such thing in CoD.

If you want realistic gameplay, then get off the computer and go play a game of paintball/airsoft IRL.

 

If video games were realistic, they would be too hard and people would get bored quickly. Most of the people who play CoD would not be able to hold an intervention while standing up in real life.

I concur. COD isn't realistic and qscoping is fucking annoying. Going against a team of good qscopers is the worst game experience, it's just retarted. Big boys won't qscope, it's for 11 year olds.

I understand that if it's too realistic maybe is not going to be fun anymore, but there are things which are way too unrealistic, like the quick scope..... then why not shooting someone across the map with a hand gun? in my opinion it's the same thing.

I kinda find quick scoping quite annoying sometimes. In-game I'm more on assault, rush and die a lot
