Downloaded it two days after release using a direct download link, and beat the campaign quite easily.

And reviews and stuff like that, they represent other people's views, not yours. You should look at a game yourself and make a judgement as well.

Completed the SP twice already, only because of multiple choices. I think if you choose to kill Briggs and Harper, and not do the strike force missions, last mission few missions on veteran are a lot harder than with other choices. Dunno, maybe it's just me, but I finished it much faster and easier the first time when I did strike force, only wounded Briggs, and killed Farid. Not sure if capturing Karma does anything really, except the British guy shows up if you don't get her at Colossus and choose not to finish the strike mission.

 

Anyway, SP isn't that good at all, only thing I liked is the multiple choices, something new in CoD, which adds some length in game. Game length was also added very artificialy, by making veteran difficulty both too easy and too hard. It's like this, I pass most of the mission without getting shot, and then I get to some point where there are scripted events, for instance, someone throwing a grenade as soon as you get out of cover. You have less then a second to kill all the enemies before running away from grenade. There are numerous scripted events like this which resuled in getting killed for 5 or even more times in a row on some places. The game should be made harder by less health, ammo, slower regeneration, smarter AI, enemies that don't just walk around, but use cover more efficiently, and eventually, more enemies, not by this.

 

My favourite SP is still from the first BO, I like the conspiracy theories, and since some of the missions are set during historical events, and real battlegrounds, it's much more believeable and enjoyable storyline. Also, Mason's story was left unfinished, we never knew if he was the one that shot J.F.K. or not. BO2 has almost nothing in common with original story, expect for the few characters.

It is shitty, but it's possible to get games on day 1. I got BO2 some 20 hours after release. 500kb/s on average stands very low on European standards, but it's still possible to get games very fast.

But torrent had almost no seeders, i could not download that for even 30 hours.

It just takes few minutes for torrent to reach full speed for me, after that it's always the same speed as direct link. Even with little seeders, as my 500kb/s download is easily uploaded by someone from Sweden or NL, where people own 100/100 connections.
