no, the mod works in all the maps. It's because you need to place the z_svr_pack_v5.1.iwd on %localappdata%\IW4M\m2demo (go to start menu, press run, and then write there the %localappdata%).

i have two questions regarding this pack:

 

1. i downloaded basic version, put it in my "m2demo" game folder (since i didn't have that folder in appdata/local/iw4m), i started game and it seems like everything got installed. i have new menu but when i click server browser i don't see any server with maps included in basic pack. just default mw2 maps + nuketown.

 

so the question is - where are the servers with maps from this pack?

 

 

2. this one is simple - if i decide to uninstall this pack, how do i do it?

How do I get the SP maps to work?

I already have the SP files from steam but do I just like drag them into my zone folder or something?

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it to work.

I just dragged the SP files into my DLC folder in /zone/dlc, and it worked.

Did you really think that the mod would suddenly make all the servers run SP maps? If you want to play SP maps, go into private match with this mod, and in the maps menu go to SP maps.

so, you're basically saying that atm we cannot play yet those maps on regular multiplayer basis (via server browser)?

You can play the maps in normal mp. But have fun to find a server, which runs those maps...

ok, i found a server with pripyat and gulag maps but when i tried to join them, i got black screen with console message that i don't have those maps. but i have them, since i put the basic pack file in "m2demo" and checked to folder manually and i saw the maps files there.

you probably don't have the sp maps .ff files, you need to download the full game.

and why do you even try to search for this SP maps with the server browser? All the idea of this mod is that you can easily access to this maps with the private match menu, because there are almost no servers which runs SP maps.
