you are mad to want 16gb of ram. even 6 would be enough

Unless you want a PC that'll last a couple of years. Also, 16gb of RAM is useful when rendering videos.

True I do that a lot (especially .mkv ones)

MY New PC(What I want)

1)Quad-core to 6 Cores. Minimum Clock Speed =3.10 Ghz

Clock speed isn't as relevant as you think.

2)Pairable Graphics card or CrossfireX enabled.

3)Good PSU.

4)At least 8 GB RAM(preferably 16 GB)

5)Beyond HD Monitor with high refresh rate.

Pretty much all LCD monitors are 60Hz, with a few exceptions.

6)Razer Keyboard + Razer Deathadder Mouse.

Waste of money.

1. Don't buy Razer peripherals, they will spend most of your budget and you'll end up with a shitty PC and good peripherals. Better buy nice PC and upgrade peripherals later.

2. Don't save on CPU, that's the heart of your PC and CPU upgrade often requires MoBo upgrade too, so it's too expensive to upgrade that later.

3. Don't give too much money for RAM, that's the easiest part to upgrade, get enough to just get PC up and running.

4. With your budget, it's almost impossible to buy a new FullHD monitor if you intend to have decent parts. Try to keep the old one. Same goes for your case, DVD reader/writer, and HDD. It's always recommendable to keep that if on budget.

5. Be careful when buying PSU, always read a few reviews on every PSU that suits your need and you can afford. If you're not sure how much will your PC consume, try this calculater, and buy just a bit stronger PSU than recommended, to have room for future upgrade and just in case http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psuc ... orlite.jsp

6. Choose the GPU last, spend all the money you have left on it. Don't fall for different manufacturers and factory overclocks, only look at model numbers, the higher you can buy, the better, and save some money by OCing it yourself later.

7. Next step would be upgrade of the parts you had to keep because of the tight budget, but this should be easy. Of course, you will do this few months afer the purchase, when you have enough money saved. Buy HDD you think will be enough for your usage. If you're like me and don't use DVD too often, buy the cheapest one. As for a case, don't fall for LED lamps and flashy looks, it's only important to have decent cooling, but don't go overkill, for your budget almost any Mid Tower case cooling would suffice. Sped the rest of the money on RAM.

Well, I don't like them either, but most people consider them good. What I meant in there was that, they are good compared to the cheapest keyboard + mouse bundle and well and kiddies consider them good because they have a cool logo

For instance, I have a $15 keyboard, and R.A.T.7, which is completely unneccesary, something I found out only after I purchased it. I guess I was too hyped for customization and expected a much more comfortable mouse.

Hey guy, I live in india too :D

an i5-3570k or an i7-3770k with a z77/lga1155 mobo like this http://www.flipkart.com/msi-z77ma-g45-m ... d21dd41712 or http://www.flipkart.com/asrock-z77-pro- ... d21dd41712

although I'd recommend you chip in Rs.1000/1500 more for a 2 pci-e slot mobo for future crossfire/sli purposes,

A 550 Ti http://www.flipkart.com/forsa-nvidia-ge ... 99673e5721 or http://www.flipkart.com/galaxy-nvidia-g ... 99673e5721 will cost you around 6-7k if you buy from a dealer (I recommend you don't order online)

Corsair Vengeance and Ripjaw Gskill are the best affordable RAM out there, buy http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-vengean ... 0vengeance X2 (2 times), I'd tell you not to buy a single 8gb Dimm cuz it won't support Dual-Channel and your bandwidth won't be doubled!

I bought a Dell ST2420l recently..around Rs. 12000, couldn't be happier!! :)

A psu these days is very important, so get Coolermaster GX series or Extreme II series or Corsair AX/HX or maybe TX series, 650 watts, 750 if you plan on future SLi/Crossfire.

I have a 3.5G deathadder and its awesome, get the new 4G DA 6400DPi and Goliathus mat for under Rs.4000. no question.

also if you have dough to spare, get these:

1) A decent after market cooler eg:Coolermaster Hyper EVO 212

2) A well ventilated case eg: Corsair Carbide 500R

3)An SSD (for booting) eg:Samsung 830 SATA-III 6GB/s 64GB/128GB..

I recommend you get all this from a dealer, as he'd give you the latest prices and discount you for buying everything from him.

I am an AMD fanboy but I'd recommend you get 3rd gen/2nd gen i5/i7 cuz bulldozers are fail, AMD are just biding their time, they'll come good in 2-3 years.

Why are you recommending that cpu/mobo combination for this budget? Also, those PSUs are completely inappropriate for a low-end, low-draw setup.

An 8-core CPU simply isn't needed for programs now; a good quad core (*cough*i5*cough*) will work muuuuuuuuuuuuch better as it distributes the power more evenly across the cores. Really. Trust me.

In the future, yes..

Опубликовано:
A good quality psu is these days a must, those are platinum/gold rated, you have to keep in mind adding another card in future for xfire/SLi is an option. I am sure they're avail for Rs.5k-7k.

Those so-called "gold", "platinum", "silver" and "bronze" ratings are bullshit.

future my ass, bulldozers are flop, compare an AMD cpu with Intel i5-3570k Rs.12000..

bench it

Bulldozer does pretty well in multi-threaded tasks actually, it's just that many programs aren't optimized yet to use all 8 cores.

That's not how it works.

bad, bad.

why would you want to go with an ssd with a budget of $550?

and 550ti is maybe the worst gfx you could go with atm. try to buy a 7850, costs ~$170 or gtx 560.

not bullshit, just only related to efficiency, nothing else

Why don't you just fucking buy a premade gaming PC? You get a fairly good one on that budget, cause unless you aren't converting videos while playing BF3 and 3DMark 11 simultaneously, you won't be needing half the things everyone here is suggesting.

Checklist for pre-made PCs:

[x] Terrible PSU.

[x] Terrible price/performance.

[x] Terrible motherboard.

[x] Terrible performance balance (high end CPU, 4GB RAM, €40 graphics card).

[x] Likely to be unable to overclock.

[x] Comes with a lot of bloatware pre-installed.

[x] Ugly case.

[x] Most of the time very loud.

did I say efficiency had any relevance to stability and such?

listen to NTA, cheapass psu don't last and don't give you the wattage mentioned, plus they don't have 4-pin power cable for gpus -.- psu is the base..get a descent psu, cpu with mobo and ram, use you old gpu or the onboard one..wait for an year or so then go for a new gpu maybe, amd are coming up with HD 8xxx and nVidia with GTX 7xx..plus the current market will drop drastically.
