There is a functional anti cheat that is constantly being updated. Cheat reports are not allowed, nor needed.

 

You're adopting the same way as Infinity Ward and Valve. "our anticheat is da greatest thing ever invented !!1! #yoloswag" Hell no. AlterIW was running with cheat reports, and the numbers of cheater was 1 every... 50 games ? Certainly much. However, on 4D1, 1 every 5 games. Atleast.

 

So 2 solutions here : Put some real cheat block or allow cheat reports. Why not both ? It was working like a charm on AlteriW. /discuss

Find a server which doesn't allow legacy clients (aka an updated server...) with active and experienced admins, who don't ban sound-whoring players for 'whing'.

That's the best solution at the moment IMO.

Okay. You can have your cheat report shit. But it won't work; the players are from aRev so they're not under 4D1 administration.

They bypass the ACI ,because of alter rev we can't do anything about it .

And if you don't like it don't play it, and the guy that maintained the anti cheat in alter iw is no longer with 4d1 i think .

also, arev players are long gone if servers would update, johnd is irrelevant to the discussion and aci3 is in early development stages, and still no anticheat is perfect

Well it works and I'm banned right now (for not actually cheating but for trying to edit the memory)

Also alterIW stopped accepting cheat reports, when they made the anticheat

It's impossible to get rid of hackers, I know. They'll always find a way to bypass any ACI.

But hackers who we can see and ban aren't that much of a problem, but those invisible named kids who just aimbot for a while and then leave, that's a major problem.

I got accused for wallhacking on a server, but I just heard everyone just running around sloppy. I got banned afterwards.

Well, this is normal here... Day ago i joined random server ( FFA /12slot ) Well, i think i was the only person with keyboard and headset, because people there used to stay in corner where they spawn for whole game... After 2 matches cu@ban
