what is the difference from me playing the game and the firered rom ? I just don't see any reason to play this.

It's multiplayer, and it only requires the Fire Red 1.0 US rom.

Is this like nexus's pokemonium project? I just downloaded that, but im not a fan of how its running. (probably a problem on my end).

I don't know about any kind of Nexus Project. I think it's a wole different thing.

Can't believe no-one is this topic is even going to mention X and Y version. Oh wait, someone has now.

why would anyone want to mention it when every generation after 3 is rubbish? pokemon heartgold is the best pokemon game created until now, because it's a great remake of the best pokemon game ever. Oh wait i'm being childish, but don't blame me because EVERYONE played pokemon when i was 8. Still a pretty good game.

gen 3 is (shit) good but i only liked FR/LG . anyway the gens after 3 are really acceptable and good. i like them pretty much, especially Gen 5. I like B2/W2 like the best, but then again i'm still waiting for an all region pokemon game (which will never be a game)

I still need to try GenV (like most DS owners, I used flashcarts, but mine was a slot-2 one from before slot-1 cards existed - therefore incompatible with DSi hybrid games); but GenIV is my favorite so far - including D/P/Pt.

D/P/PT was a good game but had minor issues, long saving time, slow movement across water and much slower battling speed. HG/SS was a improvement from the last and is definitely my favorite out of all the pokemon games. B/W was also good and BW2...i expected a lot more from the last one but whatever, it's still good.

HAHA MY MINISD CARD IS FASTER THAN YOUR SLOW CARTRIDGE

also, saving a lot of data!

I haven't even came across the term "NDS ROM" until like in 2009 so i bought diamond when it came out :(. Then i downloaded platinum and played it on an emulator. Same thing goes for the rest of the pokemon games.
