Play another game? I mean really, if you have to jump through hoops and run your graphics at their lowest setting, you either need to upgrade/buy a new computer, or find an older game to play. I bet Medal of Honor: Allied Assault will run smooth for you.

Black ops is just horrible. Beleive me. With a 5770, gtx460 and all the other cards it didn't even played smoothly on lowest settings. only with the gtx470 is it running good. I blame it on treyarch.

Off Forum:Oh course of. It called "You've Been Treyarch'd!"

On Forum: I do have Nvidia GTS 450 and play on Battlefield 3 on ultra with 30 fps. I did played Black ops Free Weekend on Steam for limited. It was 15 fps and 10 fps on maxed.

All I can say is.....

Black Ops was a terrible game, stupid mechanics. That lag that you're experiencing is from the developers shit coding... Very little effort went into the graphics engine of that game.

Others have also told me this.
