Some guns may come out really strange(being only faintly gold), and some don't use specular files on some places(don't ask me why, just don't).

Don't know what you mean, but the bloom effect is in the engine itself when bright colours are detected. I've used all three files: col, nml and spec.

They aren't done as good as in Black ops 2, where they seem to actually bulge out. The diamonds are reflective though, so lightning is effected, and they look different on each part of the map(aka specular files).

Thing is, I used the specular files that are found in the Black Ops 2 files, but there was no pattern for the _col files. So I just threw on a leveled up greyscale version of the specular file.

Also, the lighting in mw2 is way more vivid than in mw3. When are you going to release your diamond pack?

No. This is a skin. If you select camouflages from the menu they will not be visible while you play. What you see in the video is what you always will see. But I suggest waiting a bit before downloading, because a better version is going to come out soon.

Thing is, most people don't know how the gun skins work in call of duty games. So they just assume you can edit the whole weapon file and having it replace one camouflage.

Yeah, and there's the specular map, which is the colours of the light that reflects from the gun. A yellow specular map means a gold gun. The alpha channel defines the intensity of the reflection. Because the spec map is always the same, and the normal map as well, you can't make a "camouflage" like this by editing the camouflage file.

Erm, this may be late, but all you do is put the z_diamonds.iwd file inside your /main/ folder, and do nothing more.

Doesn't appear? I have specular maps on...
