Mouse problem in MW3 Multiplayer

Опубликовано:

Hello guys,

I have a very strange problem with IW5M. I just installed the game yesterday and when I play in the multiplayer this problem happens - when I see an enemy infront of me or somewhere around or close to me, or it happens to be infront of the crosshair, my mouse lags out for a second and I can't move it at all. I have tried a lot of stuff with the sensitivity and smooth mouse, but that doesn't help at all. The moust just lags out for a moment every time I see an enemy. And this happens almost on every match I play. The strange thing is I don't have this problem on the Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer, just on the Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.

So if anyone has had this problem or knows the reason/fix for it, please be sure to tell, it will be much appreciated.

Thanks, SS.

Well the thing is my game doesn't lag or play slow, just my mouse lags out for a sec when I see an enemy. I get around 30 to 40 fps.

I'm on my notebook, these are the specs:

CPU Intel Pentium Dual Core B940 2.00GHz

RAM 4GB DDR3 1333

HDD 500GB SATA-II

GPU Intel HD 2000/3000

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I know the video is quite weak integrated and really a gamer card, but I finished the singleplayer story without any problems and very smoothly on my native resolution which is 1366x768 and Normal graphics. But the mouse problem happens only in multiplayer. I tried lowering everything to the lowest, but that doesn't help at all. Really strange and annoying problem, it gets me killed quite a lot times.

P.S.: If I delete my "config_mp" I don't risk loosing my player stats, level and so on, right?

Tried deleting "config_mp", but the problem still consists... When there is an enemy infront of me, or when I aim one, my mouse still randomly freezes for a second... This problem is really annoying guys and I don't have an idea what is going on.

If you have more suggestions they are more that welcome!!!

Using FRAPS?

Опубликовано:

No, I don't use fraps at all. Neither are there any other programs running in the background that may disrupt framerate or such... The only time when this happens as I said, is only when I aim at an enemy and then the mouse freezes for a second or so.

open config_mp.cfg with notepad search for r_gpusync (ctrl+f) and change to 3 :)

I don't have the line "r_gpusync" - should I add it? What does it do?

i have the same problem... all you have to do is go to the task manager when you start IW5 the set then priority to normal

Wow, this actually did it for me, it worked! Solved the problem, now everything plays absolutely normal! Thanks so much! The only annoying part is you have to do it every time you start the game, but it's not big of a deal. Again, thanks a lot for the help!

4D1 rocks! :D
