True, Nintendo has found a way to make the 3DS sort of useful by making X and Y. Now everyone who wants to play the game has to buy the 3DS (or use an emulator).

They're going to create this game, then they're most likely to create a remake of one of the better games once again so more people have to buy the 3DS. I wouldn't play any game other than the pre 3rd generation anyways.

I'm still waiting for a 3rd gen remake, as I was addicted to Ruby (and Blue and Gold obv), hopefullly that's the next announcement.

X and Y looks kinda nice, hope there's a way to create 2 saves this time so I can share a copy with my little brother.

at least the people who only care about Pocket Monsters for nostalgic reasons have the remakes to fill their needs. as the Masuda character said in HG/SS, (the quote was supposed to be here, but I can't find it online, and my DS is elsewhere)

I like how I just started up my pokemon gold on the GBA, knowing i had 3 lvl 100's, but only having one. For some reason, i traded my starter lvl 100 and my other shiny pokemon (which i didn't know it was back then) to someone... Saw them in the hall of fame list, apparently beaten the elite four 84 times.

 

Also, found out a while ago that I had the cartridge for pokemon chaosblack...

my GBAs disappeared ages ago, thanks to the scum my little brother used to hang around with... doubt my gold cartridge's SRAM is still intact either.

 

anyway, somehow I never actually leveled anything up to 100, nor did I do any of the other crazy stuff people generally do; I just went for quest completion the least frustrating way possible (which includes using weird things including having a gigantic amount of totodile variations on that gold copy - originating from DON'T TURN OFF T--- sorry, I just turned it off!)

ahh, good old soft reset. Did you play any of the GC titles? I always found getting Ho-oh in Colosseum frustrating as shit due to having to complete Battle Mode (which was frustrating due to the fact all your opponents' Pokemons were the same level as the Pokemon in your party with the higest level).

Battle scenes look like Stadium.

I fucking loved Stadium (minigames were best).

just get a fire red rom, lunar ips and the ips file. Patch the rom and put it on your smartphone.
