I have some problems with the servers i am hosting and i hope someone can help me.

 

First problem: [NP] RPC message

 

marking client 11 nickname as being up to date on acking all party members at time 42528772

The connecting person gets awaiting connection 1..2..3..4..

 

Does anybody know what these lines with [NP] before them mean and why they take so long? When i connect to my own server i sometimes connect imidiatelly and other times it takes up to 6 of these messages, sometimes even longer. I even saw players time out because of it.

 

 

Another problem i see regularly is that no one can join the server because it is full although there are only 11 of 16 people in it with no one connecting. Why is that?

connection time depends on the CI module having been loaded already, or the time it takes to load said module. the fullness issue is relating to players already having connected to the party state, but because they come from legacy clients they only disconnect after they load the map.

Is this a reaction on the NP RPC problem or the second one where players can't jojnbecause of the server being full although there are only 11 of 16 people in it with no one connecting?

 

Can i speed up those time outs? And can i speed up the loading, i have more then enough bandwith, can't i let the server use more of it?

I too sometimes have a similar error.

Sometimes my server has 17/18 players yet I repeatedly get the "Server Full" message (rcon client shows it as well as players inside tell me there's only 17 people in total).

Also at times when I try connecting to my server I'll get the "Awaiting Connection... X" (Not the 'pop up' message like, but where it displays "Setting Up Game.." and etc.)
