If I had to judge, I'd say it's definitely texture hack - In addition your green camo, which you used in some of your videos is too bright imo (could be easily spotted in grass etc).

But this actually derailed a bit, maybe someone can make a final decision.

About the texture modifying as shown in the video, we can't force you to remove it - so I suggest you act on your own judgement whether you want to risk getting banned by anticheat or not. We do not allow manual banning from the staff team anyway.

In the times where there was a bansystem where the staff could add bans with reason and proof yes; fourdeltaone doesn't have that currently.

We want to achieve a system where people do not intentionally or inadvertently create a negative experience for other players by means other than honest sportsmanship.

 

I will take a look through the mod this weekend personally. If it turns out that these textures are included in the mod, I will remove the link until you create a new version without the miscellaneous hacked textures. This mod looks nice, and I'd love for you to be able to share your work with the community, but we simply cannot allow deliberate rule breaking such as texture hacking to go by without being rectified.

 

Just because our current detection system is substandard does not mean that the general rule prohibiting tampering/hacking of any kind which includes but is not limited to texture hacking is not in effect. As I said, I will go through the mod this weekend checking each file. As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to give you the opportunity to get off with zero repercussions.

 

I don't normally like to take an authoritarian stance on anything on the forums, but well....here we go.

 

Here's how it's going to work:

 

If you know that there are, in fact, hacked textures as shown included in the pack, you can remove the download link yourself anytime between now and Saturday at midnight EST. if you do so, you will be free to reupload a corrected version at your discretion. If you know that there are, in fact, hacked textures as shown included in the pack and you choose not to remove the download link, if hacked textures are discovered during my review of the files, you will be given a warning on the forums, which is equivalent to a "strike one" on the "three strikes - you're out" permanent ban policy. It's a mark on your record you don't want to have. Potentially, the rest of the staff could even approve more stern measures such as a temporary ban of undetermined length from IW4M/IW5M itself.

 

I'd like to restate that this is not a personal attack against you, but we, as staff, have a responsibility to confront and rectify any/all forms of tampering/hacking whenever/wherever we are made aware of it.

Don't use any camo, after that you will get Gold/Diamond weapons.
