This tutorial is going to teach you how to run multiple server on the same computer.

 

What you need:

IW4M Dedicated Server (tutorial by napsterlove)

 

Server configs

 

1. Make a copy of your server.cfg and rename it to anything you like (We use server2.cfg in this tutorial)

2. Open your server2.cfg with a text editor

3. Change the hostname

4. Go to line "g_log". Change the "games_mp.log" to anything you like (We use games_mp_server2.log in this tutorial)

6. Change any other stuff you want

5. Save & Exit

 

Shortcuts

 

1. Make a copy of your server shortcut

2. Open up the properties of the second shortcut

3. Change the port to any port you want to

4. Change the server.cfg to server2.cfg (or whatever you renamed your second server config to)

 

Examples of the shortcuts:

 

//Server1
-dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28960 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate

//Server2
-dedicated +set party_maxplayers 18 +set net_port 28961 +exec server2.cfg +map_rotate
