We are arranging a Mw2 tournament in India hosted by dG starting from 20th April, 2013. Till now, 16 Indian clans have registered. We hope this tourney will be a big boost to the waning popularity of mw2 in India, a revival of sorts. The only major problem we are facing right now is the lack of a badass anti cheat. xfire and fraps screenshots doesn't capture the new age hacks. So we had to resort to AUTO SCREEN CAPTURE, a free software which automatically captures the screens after a fixed time interval. It captures everything on screen but the main drawback is you have to play in windowed mode. So it's a big turn off. So if you guys can get the ACI3 up and running before April, we Indians will be very grateful to you. We know it's been in the pipeline for quite a while, and such a complex thing need a lot of debugging but we also know you guys are simply the best. So, lets hope for the best.

Not directly. Also, aCI was recently updated, afaik. And NTA is the only admin/dev and he browses the whole forum.

The current anti-cheat is pretty badass. There are no working public cheats, there are no working public bypassers.

 

Sorry to disagree Sir. We have to deal with countless hackers in public servers throughout the day. Ipbanning is the only permanent solution we have, but that's too is not applicable in every case as some players have the same ip but different ports (local cable net). Some hackers are even retard enough to upload their videos.

Recently updated but the commonly used hacks are still undetectable. And can you tell when will the ACI3 be up? I heard it was going to be released with the major updates. Also I want to post a link to the registration site of the tourney.

Feel free to send me all the links to those cheating tools and videos. We don't need ACI3 to detect and ban those.

 

 

Quite right sir, the only thing is they can easily make another account. We do this thing in our Mw2 India fb group. Post the screens and videos so they get banned by server admins, only to reappear with a different name. :|

still, he could just send us the download links for those "commonly used" cheats instead of dreaming about some super-effective anticheat, current aci is good enough.

 

Well I can gladly do that for you if that would be of any help. As of the videos, and screens, we sometimes search pc's of suspects with Team Viewer for any hack or .dll, and take screenshots if we find any. We can provide you all these, but honestly how many will you ban manually. Also majority of them clever enough not to leave any trace. And then what? They will make a new account. We need a automated system. I know it's not as simple as it sounds, but you guys are the best at what you do.

We have an automatic system it's called ACI. Manual bans are aren't a solution.

Detection system. We can manage with that (for the tourney at least). Ban players manually, but where do we get the detected players list for that?

BtW the main thing which is plaguing 4D1 right now is the weak anti cheat. And please people who are saying "it's good enough blah blah blah" should join a server to get some first hand experience. You guys are underestimating this problem. The only reason aRev can never compete with 4D1 is it's absense of a proper anti cheat Why don't you assign more manpower/staffs to improve the present anti cheat instead of developing new features (they are cool but anti cheat should get top priority at the moment).
