now my fps are really really less !!

had done that d3d9 thing but still after this new update fps is like 5-10 i guess! earlier it was 50-60 ( before this new update )

 

game is getting worse day by day instead of improving!

Instead of having low fps, upgrade your PC, turn off some settings on the Options menu and update direct x.

You need a 21st century computer to run these kind of games (I'm playing it on a 21st century computer and I have between 500 and so FPS on darker areas, and 100 and so while running around on lighted areas, or while watching explosions).

Ikr, I have like a 4-5 year old laptop and I get 100-150 FPS on dark spaces and ~180 while looking up. Run the game on caped 71 though.

before the update i had 50 fps

after the update its reduced to 10 fps

 

and you are saying that i should upgrade my pc?

its quite irrelevant to say that i am having this problem just because i dont have a 1000$ pc to play the game on 500+ fps!

 

and i am sure i am not the only person to have this problem after the new update!

i guess you guys dont have any more solutions so you keep on recommending updating our pcs!

i guess i forgot to mention i am running the game on lowest settings! you still got more solutions?

Too many lags since i started the game in the morning and he updated..

Hi, i was playing yesterday at 80 fps... now i play with 25-40 fps... what happened? 8(

I'm having the same issue. I was playing 60-100 fps (which to me is fine) before the latest update, now I'm struggling to get 20. When I'm indoors things are a bit better but outdoors it's unplayable. I've lowered my settings, re-installed, re-updated, re-everythinged and nothing helps. I have the same FPS whether playing at 1366x768 as I do at 800x600. I can boot up single player and everything is fine even with AA on. I'm stumped. I have an ATI card and I've heard of people having issues with those but it worked fine until this update. My specs are a bit low-end but I want to state clearly I have never had an issue running this game in either single player or multiplayer.

 

P4 3.2ghz

ATI HD4650 1GB

2GB Ram

i saw this before, when i had p4 3.0ghz the fps was so low after updating to C2D the fps never gets lower than 60, as for your problem use gamebooster to reduce the cpu usage , i mean what Pentium 4 can do with one core, 0.5 core for the game and 0.5 for dealing with the internet ? but in SinglePlayer the game will utilize the 1 core so that why you get better fps in singleplayer, think about that .

As I made a point to emphasize earlier, two days ago I could play this game, as it is right now, perfectly. So it would seem the problem doesn't lie in the processor, but in the update. I already use Gamebooster 3 anyhow, and it doesn't help. That statement also doesn't make much sense because in single player the processor is actually doing more work by loading AI, new areas of the map, scripted actions, voices, and scenes that aren't in the multiplayer. The CPU has to keep up with everything by itself, multiplayer works in a totally different fashion. It's also strange that this happened to other people after the same update. It seems more logical that the update edited a setting or introduced something new that causes an issue for some people, than to say that everyone's computer magically decided to be less effective in unison.

Nothing is wrong with my game after the update. I still can play at 300FPS. Try deleting your m2_config.cfg

Or just wait patiently for a fix or new update. NTAuthority has a lot of things to do.

I deleted and re-installed both MW2 and 4D1, as I've also already said. Didn't work.

Well I figured it would be nice to try to make sure the problem wasn't on my end before I started posting on here like a dunce and wasting your time. Sorry for trying to be considerate of others, it is the internet after all and I suppose I should know better.
