I use the MSI Afterburner built-in recording program. It's not too much cpu/memory intensive for a AMD dualcore.

Funny, nothing ever worked for me except Fraps, but yeah, files are rather large. When I wanted to do some serious recording with Fraps, I had an extra 160GB HDD installed, unfortunately, I never got around to edit the material, ao I trashed it. Wasn't very good anyway.

does dxtory cause less lag compared to fraps? but with almost the same quality?

Take a picture with a camera for every frame.

Print all the pictures on A4 format papers.

Clip them one to another.

Position your camera so it's viewing the first frame.

Start the recording, grab the paper and start running.

Hope that camera caught all the moving pictures.

Full 1080p without lag, on any game with a stable 60 FPS. Oh, and the fact that it doesn't eat my HDD like Fraps does.

On OBS, a full 1080p video that is 30 minutes, takes up less than one GB.
