Even if they would normally not have a case it's still a multy-million dollar company with professional lawyers used to bury normal people sometimes when wrong sadly. If he wanted to leave, he would have. However, looking around, Pigo doesn't want to leave, because he knows the project is legal. It has no emulation of IWNetserver, so the claim in the letter is invalid.

It clearly states they are pursuing this case because they believe 4D1 emulate IWNetserver, which is match-making. If you look at any part of the coding of 4D1, there is no emulation of this, therefore the project is legal.

 

I made a point that it isn't illegal, and they can't do anything to Pigo. He hasn't left yet, and I don't believe he is.

Of course they know they will lose. That's why they use the old "scare tactic".

But wouldn't surprise me if they got a "good" judge either way. It wouldn't be the first time that the justice system steps over the "weak" in favor of the rich.
