I've been thinking about a little something I might do in the near future (not including geological eras).

It's basically a forum, (I'll probably just use phpBB, for now), in which users can create/request their own forum.

The way it would work is that a user would create a topic in the Requests forum, explaining his idea, what would be in it etc. The other users then vote on whether this forum should be made or not. If the vote passes, the forum is made and the requesting user is the full moderator of that forum. The forum will stay as long as there is enough activity on it. Ideally, this would create a relatively fast flow of forums, but that would only happen with a large active userbase.

Oh, did I mention Rules: z0MG NONE!

Only General, Music and Random would be used regularly.

Yeah, Id like that. Something like 4chan, but with proper moderation and semi-permanent threads (and of course with less bullshit)
