Hi guys, I just downloaded MW3 and all the dlc files. Now, when I install the client files and run "LaunchIW5M" this pops up:

 

I've tried everything to fix it and still get the same error. If anyone has a fix for this, that'd be great. :?

You are blocking LaunchIW5M from accessing the Internet.

How do I unblock it? I checked my firewall and nothing is blocking it.

if youre running peer guardian or whatever then just stop. its been known to cause issues with a whole range of shit - not sure if itd be the cause of this though

No.. the problem is your "iw5m.dat" is in "iw5m.exe" and make the "iw5m.exe as iw5m.dat and your done ~!

He don't have any .dat file because he can't run LaunchIW5M, which is an updater.

Nope. That's for when you can't save the downloaded files. His problem is that he can't even connect to the update server.

if He/She use Winsock reset it could work??.. Or she/he have an Antivirus program on ..Try to turn it off causing a network problem is your antivirus program sometimes .. and it turns your firewall on even not in windows center... So thats for my help for now
