My friend has lag on the lowest settings possible somewhat about 10-30 fps. Makes no sense.. any help?

A patch which fix those FPS issues was released, and the actual version is 122.

Your game updates itself, when you launch it.

If you are not up to date, launch your game and let it update, then try to play. If the issues still there,

I'll report the problem.

Your game's version is written on the bottom right hand corner, of your screen.

It actually means that you are running on the lastest version of the client,

and that the patch fix has been applied. You still can try to create a shorcut of "LaunchIW4M" and add "-d3d9" as launch option.

How do i do that?

Btw my "playiw4m" wich i suppose is the same as launch is not located in the mw2 folders

You are supposed to launch the game with this :

To add "-d3d9", just create a shortcut of "LaunchIW4M" and add this in the properties, like this :

I dont have that one, i have this one tho "Play IW4M (Modern Warfare 2)"

Btw when i add that and click ok it says some things about not being able too

k im back... i thought of this: i have this lag problem in cod4 too and in crysis 3 ( i should be able to run crysis 3 ) and those 3 games are running with the dedicated server thing where you choose instead of joining one. Could that have something to do with it?

Do you have nVidia Optimus? I'm assuming so because the M in 675M means mobile usually. If so be sure to make it use your good GPU for IW4M.

i have Nvidia graphic driver 306.14, Vvidia PhysX System Software 9.12.0604 and Nvidia update 1.10.8 should i get optimus?

It works now! i right clicked my launcher and choosed "run with graphic prossecor and choosed Nvidia thx guys ;P

Now i just need to figure out how to make it start with nvidia everytime ;P any suggestions?
