Just something me, reeaaL, and Zer0w have been working on.

(Note that the PLAY ONLINE image is PS'd, but it will be added on as soon as we get all the other menus incorporated properly.)

 

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU ARE IDEAS FOR THE IMAGES! So come on give me your best ideas! The Play Online image is staying without a doubt.

Options menu should be a simple Wrench icon, imo.

Yeah... actually I can change that one menu that has all of that.

I feel that the orange neon "play online" picture looks a bit better suited to the main menu theme, (if you can, just touch up the brightness of the actual picture so that the orange actually gives off sort of a glow.)

 

Maybe make it so that when you click play online, it takes you to server browser, Cac, etc.

 

So far, it looks pretty good.

Looks real nice, but I just don't see myself using it. The menu how it is right now seems a lot easier to use IMO.

 

But anyway, what the guy said above me about the option menu being a wrench seems like a good idea. For private match, I think it should be something along the lines of this;

Ah, looks like you took that suggestion from your 'suggest a feature thread'. Like it so far, glad you're doing it.

looks really nice, cant wait for release. if i may, i think you should move the description of what you are hovering over on top, right under the 4d1 logo, then move the name/rank up just a tad so the quit button isn't so crowded.

true...it looks really crowded on top of the quit button. Maybe just nametag?? but remove the prestige and level system??

 

EDIT: Also could you change the FourDeltaOne on the second menu...to either a 4d1 image logo or...just put something like PLAY ONLINE (whatever the menu says??) I personally think it would be more epic that way

Very nice, but I just thought about a Friends tab. I know, the friendsystem is not working yet, but where would you put it?

I would rename the 'Dedicated Server' button to 'Play (Online)'

Something to note, I did just catch wind of a bug that I and others don't know how to fix. And that's the resolution bug, where you're not playing on a non-HD resolution the menu will be wrongly positioned.

Are you using relative locations for each element? (Like using offsets from the corners instead of absolute numbers?)

Using rect like zxz told me to do. Originally it was exp rect x/y but it was rather annoying to screw with.

I didn't see that he already had people test it. Plus there is no harm in seeing if it works for other people and not just yourself.

Nah I don't have anyone to test other than the people I ask for help on it, i.e. zxzO0O, reaaL, Apadayo, momo5502, and Zer0w. They're all amazing guys and I can't be doing this without them. Not to mention the IW4M project itself hue.

They sure are. Anyways, I like how it looks through the pictures. Cant wait for the final release!
