Need help about LaunchIW5M.exe

When i launch the .exe i downloaded for mw3 it just crashes.

I have win xp and a nice enough pc to run it, but does it have to do anything with the xp, like for exaple bo2 needs at least vista to run because of directx :( ...

Help please, you will get a cookie from me :)
