How do I log out on mw2?? I pressed remember me and know I want to sign out... I cant figure out how please help me!!

If you bought the game, it will be in C:\Program Files (if you have a (x86) here, it will be in that)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2

 

If you didn't buy the game, it can be anywhere on your hard drive, literally.

If you bought it with Steam, it should be located in;

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\<cant post the game name due to legal issues probably, but you have an IQ over 2, you should know what i'm talking about>"

 

The file should be located there.

Press windows key+r

Type regedit, press enter, run as administrator.

In the left panel go like this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> fourDeltaOne -> IW4M.

On the right panel you should see a row named GamePath, and the value should be your game folder's directory.

never has in any of my instances of installing iw4m via the normal install ('normal' is cited as: http://fourdeltaone.net/iw4m/InstallIW4M.exe) has iw4m.ini ever popped up in %localappdata%\iw4m - instead, it always appears in my game folder.

 

in fact, i just deleted all instances of my manual installation in my game folder, and installed it via the installer aforementioned, and same result, iw4m.ini appearing in my game folder.
