On alterIWnet, I remember someone, (specifically a moderator/tech) releasing a 'windowed fullscreen' mod (.exe/.ini) to allow you to play the game in fullscreen, yet technically it's windowed (as in, you could alt-tab instantly, or use the windows key and the Start menu overlays the game etc.).

 

Was wondering, does anything of the sort exist for IW4M?

If you play on your default res. just do /r_fullscreen 0 it will show as fullscreen but you can Alt+tab from anywhere

Just type the following in the console:

 

r_noborder 1 ; r_fullscreen 0 ; r_mode "1024x768" ; vid_xpos 0 ; vid_ypos 0 ; vid_restart

Set r_mode to the same resolution, that you're using on your desktop and you'll be fine.
