What if, game developers make their own OS to make games?

 

So now I have install an OS just to play COD?

 

A dedicated gaming OS would be nice, supposing one could optimize it enough to be worth the hassle of having another OS. I don't think it would be worth it, though i'm not sure how efficient windows is for gaming.

Windows is ain't that efficient. Some random background program running or pop up can screw you up.

Why do game developers prefer Windows?

 

DirectX and also Windows is the most used OS in the world, apple hipsters fags don't play video games or they play shitty games and if they'd like they don't deserve to play our games either and linux users have Wine and pretty cool library of nice Open source games that's it, also Microsoft provide stuffs to devellopers to make their work easier something that apple don't care about and that linux can't do because the linux people prefer open source and linux distributions aren't real companies.

Wine is available for Macs…

There are a lot more people who use Windows on the desktop then there are people who use Linux on the desktop. Creating a game is expensive.
