Dunno if this is happening to anyone else but in some servers at the start of the game the arrows in the minimap (players of my team) are blue instead of green as if they were in a party with me (when they aren't).

In other servers the arrows will just stay blue all the time (and the player name above players also).

 

Is this a bug yet to be fixed relating to the implementation of the friends list or can I do anything about it?

Never heard of something like that.. I would just delete my config_mp.cfg and the m2.cfg and test it again. If it's still not working redownloading always fixes everything.

It happen to me also, I went to one random server and that server changed my mini-map from green arrows to blue arrows. It's very annoying >.

Isn't it part of the Friends system (or maybe a glitch related to it)? I get it as well, since the newest revision.

It's an error which is part of the friends system. Wait until friends work properly and then this error should fix itself.

 

The blue icons on the mini-map are designed to be your friends, which you have added. Now since it hasn't been properly, it makes everyone be blue.
