Okay so.

 

I came from Aiw with graphics playing on high

 

now i come to 4D1 and i have to play on low. not even getting 30fps on low?

is there something wrong with the game? or something?

Reinstall the client or the game or if it does not work reformat your laptop.(same problem i reformatted and it worked later just fine!)

What framerate and settings can you play campaign on? Also are you using Skidrow MW2?

Reinstall the client or the game or if it does not work reformat your laptop.(same problem i reformatted and it worked later just fine!)

 

Hmm.. I have just tryed re-installing it.. that didn't work..

 

Idont think i will be reformating my laptop 0_0..

 

I dont have any backups or external HDD's to get some files i need.. so thats a no no..

hahah nar, i know what i am doing on my pc and im older than 12 0_0

 

I have tryed all maps in private match without anyone in it. It laggs and I only get like 10-20 fps

 

30fps if im in like some corner with nothing in it...(black shade or soemthing)

I came for help not to mess around and say which computer or laptop is bad.

 

I could play Aiw mw2 with about 60fps- 80fps..

 

My laptop isnt that bad at all.

 

Infact i know alot of people who play with worse laptops than me and they get like 30fps.. yet they dont brag about how its anoying them.

 

I just need help because it is really weird having to jump from Aiw to 4d1 and getting 60 on aiw and 20 on 4d1...

Well it is just about the exact same game with some new features that SHOULDN'T affect performance...so it probably is your computer that has changed...

Could you possibly get a screenshot from your graphic settings?

 

Also, I don't know what has changed since aIW went down, but if this isn't default it might help.

Edit config_mp.cfg (or config_m2.cfg, I don't know which one it uses anymore, doesn't hurt anyway.)

look for seta com_maxfps "X". Now change whatever X is to 0.

 

I can't guarantee you it works, I don't even know what the default setting in 4d1 is. It used to work in aOps though.

False, the HD3000 is the graphics section built into Intel Sandy Bridge processor (Integrated graphics). It isn't even a full graphics card by itself, and should NEVER be used to run modern games if you are looking for a playable resolution and framerate. I'm pretty sure OP's laptop has a dedicated graphics card since he claims he had 50-60 FPS on MW2 at alterIW.

Right, issue is. My HD 3000 with the tweaked config ive writen will play 60 FPS smoothly maybe a drop to 40~ on the middle of scrapyard... So yeah im USING it to play modern games. And it does the job nicely thats with textures around high high normal. no AA

turn off you're anti aliasing from the settings it doubled my fps

Nope just the HD3000, and no the physics side of BF3 destroys the laptop :3 and 1366 x 768
