GUYZZ I M HAVING DIS PROB WID "IWM4"

WHENEVER I START DA GAME USING LaunchIW4M.exe IT STARTS ND SHOWS THE MENU BUT

AFTER A FEW SECONDS CRASHES WITH BLACK SCREEN

AND THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE BACKGROUND BUT I M UNABLE TO SEE IT

PRESSING ALT+ENTER DOESN'T BRING IT TO THE FRONT

 

ANY SOLUTIONS

(SINCE I CAnt SEE THE ERROR I M UNABLE TO SEARCH FOR IT IN DA FORUMS)

How about not holding down Shift? Aight then no info, so I'm guessing right now it's an iwd error. I would advise redownloading the whole game.. also did you download the DLC?

I dont think he held shift, he mightve used caps lock.

nd i didnt hav caps lock on wen i used alt+enter

but i have tried using shift key along with alt+enter

nd also used alt+enter without shift key

 

i havnt downloaded any dlc

On start-up, It means you have either moved your MW2 folder, or you have moved your IW4M files. A re-install should fix the problem. But please note, DO NOT MOVE ANY OF THE FILES AFTER THE INSTALL HAS COMPLETED, unless you know what you are doing. Again, Re-installing will fix the problem.

 

i also tried re installing da game nd also reinstalled iwm4 using the Client Installer

I think he's missing iw_22 and iw_23.

Those are usually the errors that crash the game in the menu after a short while.
