I enjoyed playing the new maps

But I have some observations

I have noticed that these new maps are taken from the single player mode

 

If what I think is not Wrong

This means that we can get many new maps

I am waiting for one of the developers deny or confirm what I say

Correct.

The thing is, it takes time.

Takes time as in

- cleaning up the map

- Add spawn points

- Add waypoints for few killstreaks (Air support)

- Add Bomb, capture the flag points etc

Yeah, but using the RUSH mode we can make almost every map playable ( every SP map has multiple routes afaik), even those using tube pattern

Yeah, but porting SP maps just because of Rush?

I know, most COD players are for the Team Match, no other porpouse than just kill as many opponents as possible, which is indeed just fine, I do play mostly Team Deathmatch in MW2.... but some time ago I started playing BFBC2 too, and I found that the Rush mode is a lot of fun, even demolition was fun in MW2 but it's always difficult to find matches.

I think, regadless I like Rush/Demolition modes, new maps are always welcome even if limited to just one or few game modes....

and Again Rush is a lot of fun, and promote cooperation which I believe is a little bit missing in COD

...but some time ago I started playing BFBC2 too...

the_uli has a very nice concept in bringing SP-maps to MP: he only uses a very small part of the map, if the server is full it's basically a 9v9 cagematch, but still i like it

Why not? That way more maps could be used.

Got a better idea? Most of maps don't have suitable design

Quality and not quantity is the keyword. If some maps are not suitable, just don't port'em.

Just because we have loads of SP maps doesn't mean we have to use all of them only due to being able to..

iВґv tried to download the new maps here ( Pripyat, Oilrig, Burgertown, Contingency, etc) but there are all still oflline..can someone reup them or give me a linke where i can find the new maps please..

and i dont want to open a new topic about it coz NT mad it there -->> IW4M: Common Fixes/Errors/Questions

There are servers usually running Contingency, Burger Town, and Oil Rig. Not to say people play them.
