I tested this little theory of putting mods in a fourdeltaone server folder while connecting using alter-rev client. This is what happens: Joining a Mix mod iw4mp2012-07-2020-26-21-97.jpg

 

Joining Zombies:

Joining a fourdeltaone server with no mod gets this:

So it does work, as soon as you join the server it boots you out, but not all people want mods on their server but again if your really having a problem with it then do what dango said and add an anti-noob mod or just something simple like no grenade launcher. Simple.

That's really impossible... why not just remove the server their server list.. set sv_server2 "" or something like that in the server's config.

Can't the server just authorize if the player is connecting from the iw4.prod.fourdeltaone.net of the master server of alterRev? Just let the owners update their server and list only the servers that had updated their version. I guess that's a solution.

Easy to make, aCI works fine. First cheaters banned ;)

 

From what I heard, your aCI is super-easy to bypass, and is just taken from aIW's anti-cheat.

Agree with this. Whats the point in bringing aRev players if that means bringing in hackers? They really ruin gameplay; I've been in situations where everybody just leaves, since some servers have /votekick disabled or prohibited with ban consecuences...

 

BTW, I'm part of the little scout team, telling everyone from the recently fallen MWColombia to join 4D1 ;)
