hello 4D1 community,

 

there are hackers in almost all servers of 4D1..

i have encountered almost 12 hacker in past two day .

as we all know that cheat report are not allowed

so please tell what should we all do then as i have failed too find any hacker free server who is aimboting my ass... :evil:

At the top of the server list, click "Filter Servers",

Then, turn "Legacy Servers" to "Off".

No problem. Don't expect there to be absolutely no hackers in the non-Legacy servers, but I assure you, you will notice a vast difference in the number of hackers.

i did what u asked but could not find a normal TDM server without any hacker :cry:

This is getting kind of annoying telling people to do that to stop cheaters. How man up and vote the cheater out instead?

I have not seen any hackers except for Legacy servers.

Currently there's no other solution, if you're sick of it, leave or learn to program and come up with your own anti-cheat. You have absolutely no right at all to complain.

I just saying there is other things that this person can do instead of turning legacy servers off. Everybody needs to make sure that it will make his serverlist short and harder to find any servers. It's nice to have legacy servers on in case no one playing on 4d1 serverlist much. Who knows that he might run up to a clean legacy match.

 

If the person sick and tired then he/she should make a server of his own, or turn legacy off as optional, or deal with it.

Notify the admin of the server you are playing on.

Well, some 4D1 (most of them) are supporting aRev servers, even though they are non-legacy servers, so that people using alterrev client can join. But there is hope! Every 4D1 server is now equipped with /votekick and /voteban, type this in chat. (only few servers, whose admins are morons anyway don't have the feature).

votekick default ratio is 0.60 , meaning that 3/5 of players has to type /yes, which is not a lot and its not too hard to kick a cheater

voteban ratio is 0.80, use this if you are 100% sure he is cheating, and don't expect to get him banned if you are playing with retarded people, who can't type /yes in chat(I've met a lot of those people, who type !no no !!no etc, lawl).

I have not seen any hackers except for Legacy servers.
