There are other ways to make money, you're on the internet! I actually made a couple of thousand SEK (swedish money) for having a minecraftserver, and that wasen't even hard! And there should not be minimum age for doing easy jobs, like selling newspapers and stuff. Be creative, and you'll make money! Right now I'm helping a fridn with his forum and I will hopefully be paid . So if you have a good talent, use it! People WILL pay you for some stuff, if you're good enough at it. And also, im only 13... :roll:

Its too easy to make some loose cash every now and then, no one wants you to have a full time job, go ahead and start a newspaper route or start taking your neighbor's dogs out, or just clean their garage/lawn/whatever. I'm 15 and I get money from doing graphics stuff like youtube backgrounds, wallpapers... And I was able to buy a few games from the money I made. (would be more if I waited for steam summer sale instead buying it for full price :E )

I know quite alot about animating and 3d modeling, yet I dont have a job because of certain limitations, which include the country that I live in, because I live in a poor country there aren't any game development studios, so it renders my type of job useless, and believe me I have tried many things, and no this is not america to find a job and move out,and also k00p's statements are invalid and immature.

We don't STEAL the game, we make a copy of it.

If i steal somebody's car, it's mine and he doesn't have it anymore, when i pirate somebody's game we have it both.. a bit like communism, so it won't last for long.

 

By the way, if i really like a game i buy it.. but with MW2 and such, i know that activision already made billions of profit, so i don't see why i should buy it.

Valve did the same (making billions of profit), but i buy those games just because i love valve.. (doesn't make sense)

With a game like Minecraft, i bought it because i want to support the makers, it's an indie game and the developers weren't rich back then :>
