Hey guys, was having this issue for a while myself and decided to look into a whole load of different ways of fixing it this morning.

The fix is suprisingly simple, anyone can do it, don't have to mess with any files like you might expect.

 

- Download this update :

- Run 'LaunchIW4Me.exe' and it will begin to update

 

- Once updates finished, your game will open, and be working fine!

 

THIS IS A TEMPORARY FIX. READ ON.

 

Running the .exe from the RAR file will work, and will start your game, however you WILL still have to run the game from the RAR/Zip for it to work, if not youll get the same error as before. This is a fix to use only until 4D1 release an official fix

 

That's it!

 

Likelihood is that you already have this update, but it's corrupt, or something similar

 

This fixed it for me, hope it does the same for anyone else having an issue.

my libnp still reads null pointers

Try deleting caches.xml and try again.

Didn't work for me. I hope it gets officially fixxed soon though. It got quite boring after 1,5 month still trying to play properly with a random bug noone has a proper idea about.

Okay i find it. But if i delete, it does not work.

Guys, the fix works perfect for me.

 

DO NOT open your normal 4d1, it will just mess things up and then even the one I gave you wont work until you restart your PC

 

DO NOT extract before running, just run it from the RAR.

 

This has worked flawlessly for 2 days for me, do it right and it will work!
