Activision should still take a similar approach to aCI - though the problem is in that case cheats will generally do more things to avoid detection, which might eventually result in them winning over the consistent anti-cheat approach.

On another note, 3arc did a much better job of anti-cheat than IW (at least post-punkbuster).

PB is the best commercial AC out there imho.

Totally agree, nice thing is that it doesn't ONLY look for memory hooking, but other things as well.

Punkbuster is decent when it works. But most is the time it doesn't work, and it gives me random error messages . At least on CoD4 it sucks. aCi is the best anti-cheat I've ever seen, hands down. BACK is decent, But it doesn't seem to work for Cod. Just look at Steam MW3, it's full of cheaters.

What kind of error messages? Unless the person hosting the lobby has an old version of PunkBuster, all you have to do is go to the evenbalance website and download the latest version and it works fine.

And that's why it doesn't work. It's simple, just have to download the latest installer from the website. If you uninstall you won't be able to join PB-enabled servers/lobbies.
