So, I've been playing on Jerre's server(connected to it through the serverlist), then the server dissapeard for me ~3 days ago(I can still connect using /connect ip:port ), the server matches my filters, and I somewhat know the owner and he didn't change anything, except for the mod. I can't find it using either Name, or Ping. Any ideas ? o:

If you can't connect by IP, maybe the problem is on his router. If he have a dinamic IP, maybe he must change the router settings every time when IP is changing.

I CAN connect via IP, I just don't see it in the serverlist anymore, and it seems to be happening only to me ._.

Try deleting the m2demo folder, iw4m.exe, iw4m.dll, caches.xml, then run the updater.

Hmm will try that when I get on my PC, shouldn't be it though, since I didn't modify any files.

Do you still have that issue? Remind me to manually update that server when I get home, maybe it's outdated or w/e.

Sorry, my mistake, try to change legasy servers to "all" (i know it's not recommend, but i has the same problem and i fixed with this)

It's hosted on 4D1, also I always have Legacy to off, from the start. Like i mentioned, I didn't change anything, neither did Jerre aka the server owner.

I'm hosting on 4D1 too, but when i've turning off legacy servers, my server dissapeard and nobody can't see it( i don't why). Just try it, no money cost...

Like I said: I didn't change my filters, and the legacy filter has always been set to OFF.

I remember somebody saying he didn't see most of the serves until he restartet his router. Maybe that helps you too.

Hmm will try that too, don't know why it would be my router since I didn't change anything and I used to connect to it perfectly fine.

When is "legacy masterserver" down, you wont be able to see "legacy servers", for anything else you can always check console for "serverlist refresh" results.

 

Jerre's server is NOT hosted on any legacy server for example arev. The server simply dissapeared. Will try to restart my router and re-update the game.

hmm only idea pop in my head is have favorites list for IW4M but this doesn't solve the disappearing of servers.

Although I never cared much about it, I must say that some people here in Portugal also reported me such errors. Some said that they couldn't find "MagicShot" servers on the list, some others said that they couldn't find "Code-R3d" servers. I went to some of those over teamviewer and confirmed it. Both servers were hosted on 4D1, and both appeared as the lowest ping to me (as it should also to those other portuguese people)

On CoDWaW, the favorite servers are parsed directelly, even without access to the serverlist. So, it might be a solution...

Same problem I have, the refresh button is buggy as fuck.

Same problem with me. I cannot see a all the [pRo] servers and they are 4D1 based like Skidrow 24/7 and Favela 24/7

Guys whatever you do, if you want to keep the servers press Quick Refresh. Not the other option. It fixed it for me.

It worked for me:/ tried it a couple of times.

"Quick refresh" re-checks the status of currently listed servers, without re-doing the serverlist. It works if the servers are already showing up. If they didn't show up on the first refresh, they won't appear by pressing "quick-refresh".
