Hello fellow players!

 

As you might - or might not - know, IW5M is close to release and since it is as awesome as it is it provides built-in, 'out-of-the-box' mod support.

So here I am, asking you, for suggestions on what the first official mod for IW5M should be (which will be shipped with it on release).

I have taken the liberty to add a few choices myself but feel free to make suggestions and I'll make sure to add them to the list.

 

If you have any awesome mod ideas make sure to post them below. The new mod system gives us many more possibilities than before so let your imagination go wild! (not TOO wild though )

 

I should also note that the source code for the mod will become available after its release.

After we've gathered enough suggestions a new topic will be created with descriptions for every respective mod as well as a poll.

Promod.

 

hands down.

1. HARDCORE!! WASTE BULLETS IF THERE WERE SOME LEFT IN THE MAGAZINE!!

2. MULTI- TDM (3 or 4 teams instead of just 2)

3. NEW MODE : SCOUT --> ONLY A SMALL RADIUS AROUND TEAMMATES WILL BE REVEALED ON THE MAP.

4. BOTS

No hackers mod , imo the best mod for iw5m.

Promod is a mod most people want, that and AI zombies. The later one could been made if we had .GSC support, how it's looking now I doubt it's ever gonna be made.

 

So I say focus on the promod.

 

Btw, making a player vs player zombie mod is kinda pointless in my opinion, since IW made a gametype to compensate the lack of modding; infected. I would really really like NTA to port SP maps to MP, that would've make me actually play MW3, just imagine infected on those maps.

No fun with mods because every single server will have mods and no normal server will be left I think it will be more fun without mods.

I think that to make a Promod, you require some community feedback for some time, to realize what and how to balance. So, that should be left for later on (plus, things such as weapon restriction is done nativelly through the dsr files).

What I would like to see at the begining would be some vote map script, like the one you made for MW2.

Of course, it would have to be updated each time there's another dlc, but...

Gamemode: squad deathmatch, bf3 players know that..

Plus create a class after match (like in cod4)

I want the old cod4 ak back like m40 in the iw4m!

Bot mods.

And make the "hardcore" even more hardcore - change the reload system.

 

Let's say I have an MP5 with 30 bullets and 4 mags (120 bullets).

I shoot 2 bullets and therefore I have 28 bullets left, so when I reload those 28 bullets I get 30 bullets but LOSE those 28 bullets, would make stuff alot harder

I don't think it'll ever be possible in IW5M but hey the story of modding with IW5 has just begun and it took a long time so we could have new maps and guns in IW4, so I'd say wait and see...

WAR, game mode from call of duty world at war, i loved that game mode and it was great as a mod on black ops

The only mods i need:

1) Hide and Seek

2) Roll the Dice

3) Zombies

4) ProMod

 

 

And maybe a menu mod similar to Gee's patch
