How can we tolerate members insulting others just like that? I mean, look at that, some members of the community are just acting like bullyfags. All day long. And I don't like that. I know it's dev/, but that doesn't give free impunity to insult everyone as much as you want.

I just think we should enforce the "Posts that insult or harass other users are not allowed." on that forum. Otherwise, that is just a faggots fest that attack as many people as they can. And well, I'd rather prefer a somewhat of a "friendly" community.

It's the internet, those things happen, but still, I can imagine that that guy must feel awful after reading that (if he did). This is far beyond what should be tolerated. Just a suggestion, but maybe get a moderator for the urandom section, to prevent this from happening?

That was an evolving problem in alterIWNet with Spam & Rage. The biggest issue we faced was maintaining a community with that infecting tumor of drama and hate on the board.

A nice part of /dev/urandom is it's description. With that as an explanation you can enforce warnings there for harassing other users like that. Some reactions and attitudes are not normal and should be punished in my opinion.

I don't really give my opinion on the question but I just want to say... most people here are idiots. I'm pretty sure that most of them are idiots because it's funny for them to create useless topics (see how many U-S-E-L-E-S-S topics there are in the IW5M sub-forum). In each topic there is a derailment because someone said something which is badly interpreted.

To be honest, I'm really happy to not deal with these people (Tech Support and Gmod, you're very courageous and patient!). If I was at your place, most of them would be banned because they can't be a minimum serious.

Now, if people are insulting others, even if it's in the /dev/urandom sub-forum, they must be warned!

If I remember correctly, at the beginning of alterIWNet, there was no Spam & Rage section and people weren't like today. Maybe create a forum for "idiots people" like /dev/urandom wasn't a good idea...

Anything that is threatening or discriminatory should equal a warning, but apart from that, I really don't see the problem.

I mean, does anyone actually take this nigger seriously? People should learn that some users are just dicks, and not to take everything so seriously .

Welcome to the internet.

Such people shouldn't get a warning, a temp-ban would be better...

I just think we should enforce the "Posts that insult or harass other users are not allowed." on that forum.
