will iw5m have cheat detection on launch or later or never?

that would be a major reason to switch from teknogods modification because its unplayable because of hackers and if you don't meet those kids, you'll get perm-banned from server-admins for beeing too good.

 

and will it allow to store profiles offline on our hdds instead online in the cloud? i think saveing this information locally is a lot better and more failsafe, i feel very uncomfortable with cloud savegames. what would speak against it?

I distinctly remember someone (Most probably a mod) telling me that its all manual right now.

Anti cheat is up and working. Also player stats will be saved on our servers, well NTA's.

You said it all on the thread's title.

Cheaters will get banned because aCI is running already on IW5M. And they can say goodbye to their stats, since they're stored online, the account wich has their stats is banned, and they can't hack stats.

Nowadays, on IW4M, a banned cheater could just create another accound and hack stats. Seems that won't happen on IW5M
