I was having this exact same problem , you need to get the torrent dlc files from here

just cancel the maps you dont need

Just download them all and place them where they are supposed to be. Otherwise you will have to downlaod them later.

Should be among the files you downloaded. Copy all the files from the "dlc" folder to your MW3's /zone/dlc/ folder and copy all files in /main/ to your MW3's main. That would do the trick.

The iblack link does have them...hmm...weird. Try joining a game with erosion and report back if it crashes, i doubt it will, erosion as a map is saved under a different name.
