I think their real problem is related to steam because there's no use of steam in fourdeltaone iw4m. We only need it to run the game. That's all... Correct me if i'm wrong..

 

How is it related to Steam? Activison don' care about steam, all they care about is that we OWN MW2 on steam already, allowing us to us IW4M which is classified as a steam mod

 

We do need steam. Because, it checks if steam is launched and if we have the game.

 

It doesn't check if steam is launched, it validates that your steam account has MW2 on it (legally) imho, you can end the steam.exe process

 

It might also have to do with DLC and no ways to check for that?

 

Uhm, yes steam has to be open. I tried launching the game and it said "Steam have to be started to run IW4M. Please open Steam and try again"

 

Got nothing to do with DLC content. There is no discussion whether IW4M will implement access to DLC, If so, you will need to legally pay and download them through steam.

 

That being said, none of your reply's are on topic, Pigophone originally posted this, to show that Activision are trying the best to make sure the files are not being downloaded from mediafire so it doesn't harm "their" customers.
