What's up with the server browser? I start IW5M and I see a few servers, maybe 10, but none are mine. I refresh a couple times and suddenly my four servers are showing. I've exited a server a few times now and looked at the browser and sometimes my servers aren't showing. Each time I am refreshing tonight, it's showing between 10 and 16 servers.

Will this be tweaked so more servers will show up?

Didn't you say, GrossKopf, you had this same problem with Steam and TeknoGods?

In Steam MW3, if I refresh the browser, or click on one of the other tabs, the browser fails to respond. If I exit out of MW3, my internet takes a crap for a minute or two, almost like it's still trying to get all the server info.

With TeknoMW3, only about 200 servers show up when there are nearly 500 online and when I ran 8 servers, I rarely saw more than 3 or 4 at once in the browser.

Now with IW5M, I see between 10 and 20 servers and sometimes I have to refresh 5 or 6 times to see my servers.

This makes me believe that something about the way MW3 get the server list causes a problem with my router or modem and one of those is ignoring some packets to prevent the connection from being overloaded? I'm not sure.

So, if anyone can address this issue that I know others have, it would be our resident code master, NTA.

Why I have high ping in your mw3 server while in mw2 my ping is low.

mw2=100-125

mw3=175-200

as i said, incoming ports ports ports.

Try using router in bridge mode, initiate connection with pc and take down firewall, test browser again.

If servers show up fine, than forward ports from 27000 till 29000 because servers are usually hosted in that range.

If the same servers didn't show up every time, I'd say yes, but since my servers all sometimes show up, it's not ports being blocked.

Try using the browser I've attached below. If that works, it narrows down the problem to the client. If it doesn't, well, I have no idea.

Queried 126 servers, but only showed 20.

Well, its not the master server. It returned all the servers that are listed. Something went wrong when you attempt to query the individual servers.

After trying your utility I began to Google topics related to the browser problem. I went into my router and tried all sorts of things. I opened every port on my computer, disabled port scanning/DDOS protection, open NAT, DMZ, etc. I changed settings in my firewall and I even tried disabling my firewall but absolutely nothing I did made any difference in the number of servers being listed.

MW3 is the only game that this sort of thing happens and I know I'm not the only one experiencing it so I have to assume that there's something about the way that MW3 sends the data that something on my computer doesn't like. I don't know if it's hardware related, software related, or maybe even ISP related (Comcast).

Hmm, I've got the same problem, but I only get a single server to show up (the "Modern Warfare 4" one), no matter how often I refresh. The only thing I can do is to try again later or disconnect and reconnect to get a new IP (don't know if that actually does something, but sometimes it's worth a try).

Oh, and don't tell me shit about ports, I'm using a DMZ and IW5 is the only game that has any problems with the server browser (the same thing often happenes on the Steam version as well). IW4M and CoD 4 work flawlessly, though.
