I can see my server in the server list, but nobody can connect to the server

I'm running the server on win server 2008, open port 27014-27050 running server with Tekno is ok. Please help!

Jup i have the same. Can't be a firewall problem, because i have none.

 

Also iw4m runs fine ofc. on all ports i give it :roll:

27014-27050 UDP

Put it to UDP/TCP and check if it works

You problem is this:

Ports must be netport 5 queryport 4 masterserverport 6.

You are also hosting on linux ?

No, hosting on window server 2008

is your internal ip actually 192.168.1.1? isn't that the router's?

It happens to me too. I think its just MY router and its stupid forwarding. Are you 100% sure the ports are forwarded properly?

i have same problem.

server is show on list but cant connect to it. i can connect to others.

cant connect over command line either

More people with this problem? I try'd 27015 port for iw4m server. And there it does work So nothing wrong with firewall . Since i don't have it enabled

Funny. Says port 28960 is closed. While there is a cod4 server running and everybody connects

so i won't trust either of those site's

such sites generally use TCP which is not used by game servers at all

I am also having the same issue.

 

Running Windows 2003, I can host iw4m just fine with those ports. but with iw5m, I can see my server but I cant connect to it.

 

Any solutions?

 

 

I just tested doing a server on Steam Modern Warfare 3 and I was able to join just fine -_-'

 

So why on FD1 I can't join?

Works now.

the same problem on vps, I will add that works without a problem mw2 and mw3 server can not see the list of servers...

Your using R17... run dsut.exe to update your files and restart the dedi.

im using IW5M r20 client and server

im trying also to setup a little home_server for me and some friends

what ever port setting we use there is no LAN connection possible to the dedicated server

ofc i can run a cod4 ,cod5, mw2 and mw3(orginal server) and connect them perfectly well on LAN and Internet

all the necessary ports tcp/udp are forwarded and not blocked by any firewall

server is showing up on the server_status site but not connectable thru LAN
