Hi I have an error when i start the game is this one:

Error during initialization:

Your current Steam account does not own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Please purchase the game, try another Steam account or make a folder called 'dw'.

 

I read this problem in iw4m 4d1 can be solved whit setting your steam profile in public so I tried that but

it dont works.

PD: I have altermw3 mp rip, some friends have that version and is working for them.

PD2: Sorry for my bad english (I live in Argentina).

The bold is what you have to do.

There is also a tutorial on youtube that I might have made. Follow it to know how to get it working.

Start the game again. Now, read the error, its simple English, so read it. You will find a fix right there.

 

Alternatively, buy the game and run steam.
