Activision doesn't want NTA to emulate match-making. So... my question is: Are private matches still there?! I can't test it at the moment, because Steam is f***** up...

Yes, you can use Private Match for LAN (for example) and use connect console command to join.

 

But Matchmaking is not implemented (just thought I would add my 5 cents)

I'm still on my thoughts with a LAN server browser...(besides the fact that you would have to ping almost every port... Unless there was an option to specify the port, which would be most helpful... xD)
