start LaunchIW5M.exe to fix the crashing server list

Yeah that does fix it, but still the guy who is hosting a server that crashes people's game is a low life a-hole

This isn't a fix, its just a way to avoid having any contact whatsoever with the server. Which is NOT a solution. We will however, link to this thread every now and then until a better solution comes up.

basically what happens is: The dark server is always empty because no one can join it either, so basically this filters out all empty servers.

Some staff members (me too) already talked to him... but it looks like that he doesn't want to stop.

Good temp fix. But I think it's useless to set "Show Full" to No, just because it's a specific server crashing the list, which means that that given server will never be populated let alone be full. Also, reminds me of when alterRev had a similar issue.

I found another way:

 

1) Run IW5M and go to server List. The game will crash.

2) Run the game again under safe mode

3) Play any online match

4)After the game, go to settings -> video and change the resolution

5) Go back to Server List, mw3 will not crash now.

Sometimes the server list doesn't load all servers, so by chance, they may not have loaded his server onto their list.

It only affects those who see the server. If you filter the server, your list won't crash.

I had funny server list error,when i went on the top of the server list the game just closes lol
