Is it just me or is it when my dedi rotates the the map "black box" my fps drops to like 5, and so does every1 else.

It must be your dedi. It doesn't lag for me and if it happens to the whole server it is your server

I have frame drops on Black Box too, but not on every Server.

BlackBox NEVER lags for me. I do remember it lagging and dropping my FPS to near ~2 during the beta though. It might be that your server's files are old? Just guessing here.

This happens on some of my LAN computers while others play fine if a dedi been running for 3 hours straight

It lags for me when I play it on other people's servers... nothing like on any of the other maps. It's maybe just a map that wasn't fully optimized.

well it even happens to me on a few servers, my gpu is a gtx 580 so it could definitely handle it..even a reconnect doesn't help. on other servers though the map is playable as normal.

No all my files are updated. also it seems other people have this problem so i dont look like a douche lol.

Try to avoid playing on the map until its confirmed to be fixed.

Sometimes it happens to me and sometimes it doesn't. I removed Black Box from my rotation because of this. I never lag in any game I play, so something is definitely wrong.

Yeah, I thought it was nonsense until it happened to me. One round, I was running fine with >90fps on Black Box. Everyone else was complaining about lag and low frame rates. I roffled.

 

Then, Karma caught up with me. I've seen the dreaded 2-5 FPS Black Box now, and it's horrible. I can play BF3 on Ultra, but sometimes Black Box turns my PC into an abacus.

I don't if it's hardware related or from the maps.

I usually run COD on 60 - 250 (sky ) FPS.. and on some of the DLCs, my FPS are like .. 20 - 45 (like : BlackBox, the central park map that I forgot, even Village that is not a DLC).

is thre a way to remove blackbox from my rotation? cause i have my rotation set to any map and set gametypes.

Yeah, I also have this, it goes at me to around 4 FPS, I can't even tell the users their hero is leaving the game because he's lagging

 

Had this today, went to vote next map, and voila, the FPS returned to normal.
