Search is there: search.php And about Ubuntu, I doubt you'll be able to simply run MW2 under Wine or so, I believe it has quite a few dependencies not supported by Wine and as most modern games it us not easy to be emulated, probably not even worth the hard work trying to make it run. Just stick to Win for games, as everyone else does ;D

Now could anyone confirm that iw4m.dat file in the game dir is a part of 4D1 version of IW4M and every single person playing 4D1 has that file located in the same dir as iw4m.exe? I mean, isn't it a leftover file from aIW?

Well I don't use Xfire, I use a new alternative that outperforms Xfire, Hamachi etc. It's called Evolve. However, I'm still having a problem that it doesn't detect 4D1 IW4M. It used to work well with the aIW version, but does not with 4D1. As MW2 is still in my library I can set the launch path: Still, it seems it doesn't change anything. It doesn't detect the game after it's launched. If anybody happens to have Evolve or might want to try it out and has any ideas for solution of this bug, please share

Now very exactly: Find a line (~287) that begins with: seta r_mode Edit the numbers between quotation marks so it looks like: seta r_mode "WIDTHxHEIGHT" Mine looks like the following: seta r_mode "1920x1080" If that doesn't make things better, find this line: seta r_fullscreen "1" The number between quotation marks can be either 0 (windowed) or 1 (fullscreen), try both. If you set it to windowed mode ("0"), be sure to find this line: seta r_noborder "1" And try changing the number (either 1 or 0), see if that changes anything.

I don't really understand what the problem is, if you can play a private match. Talking about the console. You need to type connect IP into the external console, or how is it called, which launches together with the game. If you want to execute any commands through the in-game console, you must add / before them, like /connect IP.

I dunno if that's true, but there were some rumors that you can't "downgrade" your stats. So if you were like lv70 and tried importing stats of lower lvl, that might be the thing.
