Just was on a Streak on Terminal, had 16 - 1, on the way to the Moab and then one funny guy thinks i have a Wallhack and he Votekicks me.. It's so annoying that i get kicked everytime i have a good Score, please disable it.

only way possible is to tell the admin to turn off votekick on server.cfg

votekick is great, vote map change is also great. It is being abused by crybabies that assume that if they died, then everyone is hacking. But I dont think it should be disabled. maybe if there is a way to make a script to disable people from calling votes too often get banned from voting entirely. It sucks, but I guess take it as a compliment you got kicked. That means you are skilled enough (or on a lucky streak) to make others assume there is no way youre not hacking.

Wew, lucky most of my associates came from Tekno (our votekick never works), so now we know each other's skill, and we could defend one of ourselves should someone blame us a cheater...

Well, actually we're crying as well now - But still, don't care.

People abuse the votekick function all the time, it's really annoying.

Public voting systems have always been abused in every online game. That's why whenever I ran a server that had that option, I made sure I disabled it. I don't need the players on my servers deciding who is and who isn't cheating. That's what my admins are for.

This happens to me alot. Apparently earlier on I had a texture hack (had Marksman on) Wallhack (Sitrep pro + headphones), aimbot (high dpi mouse). Just because some kid can't take the fact they're getting beat they votekick.

I haven't seen any abuse of votekick on my end. Mostly because I live in Asia and the guys there don't really understand how to make a vote. It has been useful in booting a few hackers though. They insist they aren't but it was really obvious. Like aimbotters and wallhackers that trail their ironsights exactly to where you are behind walls. It's worse that they tell me they saw me on UAV when I have Assassin Pro on with Silencer... And that dumb excuse that they heard me... Dead Silence Pro...

 

I think if you want to remove votekick you should have a function for reporting that replaces votekick. If you argue that they can change their names so they won't get penalized then they can change their names to get back in the game after being kicked anyway. However, the party that receives and investigates these reports would likely get spammed...

 

Just don't think we should get rid ways to kick hackers.

It is a better solution which lets you limit votekick usage (ban people who abuse it) and lets admins override it. MW3's built in votekick sucks.

i've been kicked a lot, i kinda got used to it,just don't feed the kids .

Don't remove it is necessary in some places and not everybody abuses it like kids.

I have said and will again the votekick should only pass if 75% of the voters (not players) vote yes.

Got to agree, now its 7 times Yes and you are kicked its not even half of full server (18) so yea, 75% would be really good!

A report function sounds useful. Votekick is used to kick hackers when admins aren't on, after all.

 

And the fact that they can change their names isn't a big problem when you think about IP-Banning them. They can change their names in every colour and flavour they like
