Well, me and some of my friends just got this game, and it's really a pain to get into the same server with Browse Servers since the list is not the same for all of us. I was hoping that there would be another way to connect to each other's servers. We all have Steam, if you needed to know, but it doesn't show me ingame when I'm playing, it does show the overlay, but I can't invite to game and such. Thanks in advance!

You could create a private Dedicated Server(One with a password) give him the IP Address of the dedi server and he could join the server...

IW4M doesn't support that "invite" feature.

Did you all put your firewall and anti-virus software off? Oh and don't forget the filters...

The server list will be the same if you have the same filters.

Some servers may pop up later than your friends though, since their ping may be better.

Is there any way to check the IP of the server you are in?

Press tab and look on the buttom...

It lets you filter servers by player name, wich means that you can find the server where a specific friend is playing and join it by double clicking the server.

Should import a friendlist through steam.

If you have friendslist on steam, IW4M will automatically add the people who also play IW4M in your friendslist (at least that's what happened on my IW4M
