Level hackers are not detected by aCI.

 

If you think people are cheating, ban them from your server. While you're at it, how about you help the devs improve aCI rather than criticize them? Personally, I haven't seen anyone that I can say with 100% certainty is using a cheat.

We do update it every now and then. Its just that the aCI (like any other anti-cheat) doesn't have a 100% detection ratio. So of course there will be people who can get around it, but the hacks will be caught pretty fast.

Maybe you are referring to AlterIWnet/IW4M -- IW4M doesn't have the function of global ban messages either -- . IW4M has an anti-cheat, but they have decided to have no global messages, probably to prevent spam in servers.

There are no hacks for IW5M that is not detected, they're just using their brain to look for a specific something to get in.

Honestly I don't believe that. There's just too many level hackers that don't seem to be banned. I played 5 games with a level hacker and nothing was done...

If there was a list of level hackers or just even a number I would be more convinced.

I think that aCI in IW5M is awesome!

I haven't seen a single cheater since I play... only lvl hackers, but max prestige isn't any advantage at all...

The anti cheat works fine, it doesn't ban level hackers(well that isn't an advantage at least) but it banned my friend for 4 days cause he didn't know how to change fov -.- and he used something like an aimbot with that feature.

You seem to have no idea how the anti-cheat works. It doesn't matter how much time he played, if the cheat is detected, he gets banned, otherwise, he doesn't irrespective of the time he played. If the cheat is detected, the bans are usually instantaneous.

There are MANY cheaters, aimbotters, level hackers, ban avoiders... in the game, aCI doesn't do shit to ban them. I'm not sure if this is because aCI isn't updated or what... but I've never seen it active.

What region are you in?

 

At this point, I haven't seen anyone I can say without a doubt was cheating. NH9 was crashing clients and people have used auto-fire bind/scripts (and I'm pretty good at seeing the difference between those and genuinely fast clicking), but that's it.

 

At 8-11 hours per prestige, someone could have gotten to a fairly high level at this point without assistance. So that throws some doubt on the possibility of a level hack.

 

I haven't seen a single aimbotter yet, and I've played a lot. I've seen accusations, but you can read the link in my sig to understand the vast majority of hackusations. Same thing with most "WH!!!11!!!" hackusations.

There is no way for aCI to detect if you've hacked your level.

You can still go into Echelon and find his ID to ban him.

 

I've seen a couple of no-name guys like that, but I haven't seen an aimbot on IW5M. And even if you have a couple, it's nowhere NEAR as bad as Tekno. That shit was insane.

I have only seen 1 that was cheating 100% sure, he had an aimbot and had no name. when I called Admin to ban him they were unable, after trying everything nothing could be done. So, I left the game...(not really a big deal)considering on TG there were not only 3-4 cheaters EVERY game but just to think about playing legit against the constant flow of hacks I actually had to l2p completely different to compensate. Sadly playing like that is not really viable anymore or necessary since there really is no more hacks being seen, (hence I had to relearn and switch my classes around once again.) If that is my biggest complaint (learning to play against real legit again) then I say a job well done, NTA

^ And we were able to ban that guy in Echelon after the fact, so he wasn't totally able to ruin the server at will.

 

I'm still learning the plugins that we use, and eventually we'll have it all figured out.

Still a vast improvement over what we've had to deal with in the past, though. VAST improvement. Orders of magnitude.

I for example am using marksman so even if u are headglitching or are proning in a very far disatance i can see ur name and thats basically where i will shoot so be4 calling ppl hackers you should maybe try to get more skilled yourself
